The redesigned "K" Series AMANA PTAC now boasts integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with a new AMANA brand mobile app, providing a more modern and streamlined appearance and operation. This re-imagined design eliminates the user-operated control pad, requiring a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation.

The Bluetooth and RF connectivity in this new series reduces unit setting and configuration time, allowing users to access advanced unit features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, from either the wired/wireless thermostat or the AMANA brand mobile app.

To enhance the overall user experience, the AMANA PTAC features improved design and materials to reduce operating noise and exterior/operating sound transmission, resulting in a more pleasant and quieter room environment. The unit has a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, making it quieter than previous models. Additionally, the new design incorporates a modern Quiet White color.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A., the new AMANA PTAC can achieve an EER value of up to 14.0, making it an energy-efficient option. New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included in the purchase. The unit is compatible with a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8", and it can cool and heat an application area up to 550 sq. ft.

The purchase will include the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which allows users to control the AMANA PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.
