AMANA PTAC 15,000 BTU Air Conditioner with 3.5 kW Heater and 20 Amp Plug, White

The new "K" Series Amana PTAC has been redesigned, introducing integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity along with the new Amana brand mobile app. This re-imagined design eliminates the user-operated control pad, providing a modern and streamlined appearance and operation. The unit now requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation.

The Bluetooth and RF connectivity reduce unit setting and configuration time, allowing users to access advanced features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, from either the wired/wireless thermostat or the Amana brand mobile app.

Improved design and materials have been implemented to reduce operating noise and the transmission of exterior and operating sounds into the room, creating a more pleasant and quieter environment for the user or guest. The new Amana PTAC has a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, making it quieter than previous units. The design also includes a new modern Quiet White color.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A. for over 45 years, the new Amana PTAC can now achieve an EER value of up to 14.0. New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included. The unit fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8" and can cool and heat an application area up to 850 sq. ft.

The purchase will include the Amana MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which can control the Amana PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.

The unit's voltage is 230.0 volts, and it has a capacity of 1.0 ounces. The installation type is through the wall.
